Chris Bourque

Chris Bourque is reachAbility's Success 20 Program Coordinator. He has been a great asset to the organization because of his compassion and devotion to youth and persons with disabilities in our community. Chris worked for Phoenix Youth programs where he offered support to 'at risk' youth and youth who experience homelessness. He also has experience in providing support to clients and caregivers through the Alzheimer's Society of Nova Scotia.

Chris has a degree in Psychology from Mount Allison University, as well as, a degree in Social Work from Dalhousie University. As the Legal Coordinator, Chris has many responsibilities, which involve overseeing the Legal Referral Service and Community Outreach Initiatives. During his time at reachAbility, Chris has had hands on experience working within all programs, as well as, writing grants and proposals.

Chris plans to continue working at reachAbility and obtain his masters degree in Social Work in the near future.
