During the ASSET program, which includes programming starting on Monday morning and running until late Friday afternoon, participants work on a variety of content that aims to allow participants to see themselves in terms of their own unique value. This workshop empowers participants to invest in the most important asset that they have: themselves. The objective of this unique program is to assist clients in striving towards their goals in a supportive and accommodating environment. As barriers are addressed, empowerment follows through the identification of strengths and abilities.
Some of the topics covered are:
- Focusing on Positivity
- Reframing Negativity
- Self-Confidence & Self-Compassion
- Handling Setbacks and Failure
- Identifying Strengths and Abilities
- Exploring Skills and Knowledge
- Unpacking Values and Personality
- Challenging Labels
- Creating Goal-setting Strategies
- Healthy Lifestyle Choices

“The ASSET course was the most comfortable I have ever been in a group setting and it was the perfect environment for me to learn.”
“I have learned how to better express myself. I have learned how to better deal with rejection and how to “turn lemons into lemonade” (i.e. be more positive). I have learned how to better motivate myself.”
