The ASSET Program - Acquiring Self-Confidence and Social Skills in Support of Employment
reachAbility's ASSET program started in August 2005 to help person with disabilities reach their full potential as they prepare to enter the workforce. It is a five-day, confidence and communication skills building course. ASSET is designed to increase the participant's self-confidence so that they can be more successful in finding and keeping a new job. In a supportive, accommodating, learner-centred environment, this program helps identify strengths, determine improvement opportunities, develop realistic goals and action plans geared towards employability, enhances interpersonal communication skills, and helps understand the importance (and practice) of work-appropriate communication skills.

reachAbility's ASSET is committed to supporting clients as they reach their full potential and learn to manage conflict and practice effective communication skills. We have developed a series of modules that are innovative and practical that will be offered over 5 days in a 30 hour classroom environment.
