Post Traumatic Stress Disorder featured on Inclusion Revolution this week

reachAbility is pleased to announce the next two episodes of the 2014 season of Inclusion Revolution on Eastlink Television. Airing weekdays at 2 p.m. and Wednesday evenings at 9 p.m., the show is an engaging, community-based show dedicated to creating a culture of inclusion. For the current season, host Tova Sherman provides us with an entertaining and informative opportunity to change the way we view disabilities in our community, workplace and beyond through discussions with experts on a variety of topics.

Beginning on January 27, this week’s episode features an informative discussion about Post Traumatic Stress Disorder with reachAbility Facilitator and Social Worker, Liraz Rahinshtein. Drawing upon her experience as a Mental Health Officer for the Israeli Army, Rahinshtein shares insights and methods for dealing with crisis and traumatic events.

Next week’s show is called “Hiring and Retaining People with Disabilities.” Beginning on February 3, it features a discussion with Pete’s Frootique manager Curtis Grace who tells Tova about the methods the company uses to create an inclusive work environment.
