Interested In Being On Our Board Of Directors?

ReachAbility is currently looking for two volunteer board directors. We are interested in hearing from persons coming from a variety of professional backgrounds. The ideal board director will be in good standing in his or her respective field. S/he is committed to the values of diversity and inclusion, and wants to make a positive difference in the community, and has an interest in advancing opportunities for those facing barrier. Experience in a decision-making role preferred. Duties of Board Members Include:

  • Attend all meetings of the Board (approx. 4 per year)
  • Support and participate actively in association activities
  • Assist ReachAbility in achieving its strategic goals
  • Assist in setting policy
  • Actively participate in all fundraising activities and special events
  • Acts as a community ambassador for ReachAbility
  • Consults with CEO on an as-needed basis when required
  • Actively participate in the Board’s annual planning and evaluation efforts
