We're pleased to share reachAbility CEO Tova Sherman’s presentation at TEDxNovaScotia earlier this year.
An award-winning Canadian Inclusion Advocate, Sherman brought her signature style to an issue close to her heart – ADHD spectrum disorder – on March 10, 2013 at Dalhousie University in Halifax. Sherman addressed the question: Is the Western world promoting hyperactivity as a model of super-achievement? She also shared her personal and professional experiences through a humorous, multi-media presentation reflecting a highly overlooked paradigm shift in learning and succeeding in today’s fast paced world.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.
