HOSP101 is a unique 8 week program focused on preparing individuals for a rewarding career in the hospitality industry.
In partnership with industry partners, participants will be provided a 4 week classroom session covering: customer service skills, positive communication methods, workplace conflict management, and self-awareness workshops. In addition to strengthening their employability skills, as well as their classroom experience, participants will achieve First Aid, Food Safety, Non-violent Crisis Intervention certifications, barista training, and field exposure at local community businesses.
The participant’s 4 week classroom training will be followed by a job-placement service directed toward their interest within the broad scope of hospitality with the ultimate goal of securing sustainable employment.
