One Step Closer

One Step Closer delivers programming throughout Halifax and its surrounding areas. reachAbility aims to serve more than 100 individuals a year this way. We work with participants for 10 days over a two-week period to deliver our popular Asset and Sycle programs. Clients will tackle a variety of topics, including:

  • Stress and Anger Management
  • Conflict Resolution
  • Workplace Dynamics and Ethics
  • Healthy Lifestyle
  • Positive and Assertive Communication
  • Self-Esteem, Self-confidence and Self-efficacy
  • Personality, Values, Motivation and Attitude
  • Goal Setting and Planning
  • Interviewing and Understanding Employer Expectations
  • Team Dynamics

Upon completion, client will have have increased self-confidence and self-efficacy and developed effective communication and conflict resolution skills. By reducing these barriers to employment, this program fosters development so that clients can experience meaningful employment and personal growth.
