Open House Project

The doors are open during National AccessAbility Week (NAAW), May 25th - 31st, 2020 in communities across Nova Scotia as our partners invite you to see their exhibits, learn about their impact, participate in activities, have a tour, or maybe even join them in their work. The Open House Project showcases our provinces passion and support for accessibility and inclusion, and provides an opportunity for you to learn about services available in your community.

Art Gallery of Nova Scotia (Yarmouth)

To celebrate National AccessAbility Week and Maude Lewis Month, the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia offered free admission to the gallery on Sunday, June 2 (2019) from 12pm-5pm!

Halifax Parks & Recreation

The Department of Parks & Recreation showcased their adapted bikes and ride-on’s as well as highlighted some of the other options that support access & inclusion within recreation opportunities in Halifax Regional Municipality.

Team City Art Exhibit

Team City Art Hive a community art initiative for young adults with Down syndrome from Team Possibles offered an Open House on Tuesday May 28th, 2019 where a selection of artwork by their members was on display, and their artists were there to speak about their work.
